Technical Information

@ Rossco we are constantly looking to improve our materials and production techniques:

• Materials: Our basins are made with a white stoneware clay. Ceramic clay bodies are a combination of various Fluxes, Fillers and Clays.We have a developed a great clay body and continue to improve our recipe where possible.
• Firing: Our basins are fired to 1186 c . At this temperature the the glaze melts into a liquid and the clay becomes a semi vitreous ceramic.
• Quality: We hand check each item as it leaves the factory. We will gladly replace any defective item. Rossco benchmarks it’s self against European imports and aims to excel in terms of design and quality. We are also proud to be a 100% South African supplier.
• Composites: We have started a composites devision on the first loor of our factory. We are using only the best materials available our formula has been branded liquid stone. Essentialy all or most composite materials are very simmilar in composition and most are made from decomposed volcanic stone that has been milled to various partical sizes and and blended with polyester resins.
